Our Trustees

AIMS was founded in June 2021 during a meeting hosted by John our Treasurer in his garden, due to ongoing Covid restrictions at the time. Fortunately it was a beautiful, warm summer's day, and a sign of things to come! Our Trustees extend a warm welcome to you all!

Ian Gourlay

Chair

Over 50 years experience working with various charitable organisations, for which I was awarded an MBE in the King's Honours Birthday List. My career was in Banking and I still help out with charity accounting. In my spare time I enjoy exercise and keeping fit, taking part in research projects and compiling the quarterly newsletter for AIMS.

Brenda Reid

I also worked in banking while looking after a young family.

Hobbies include crafts, socialising

with friends, and looking after the grandchildren.

Chrissie Kennedy

My career was spent in the oil and gas industry in a variety of HR roles. Favourite positions were in housing and travel. Since retiring my husband and I have maintained our love of travelling and we also enjoy socialising and walking.

Career in oil and gas, working in various parts of the UK as well as Qatar and USA. I enjoy gardening, walking, exercising, baking and travelling and looking after the grandchildren helps keep me

young at heart!

Worked in oil and energy companies,

in a variety of HR roles and latterly in recruitment. Hobbies include gardening, cycling, DIY, cryptic crosswords, and spending time with the family.
